Upward Movement is space created for you to release, unwind, settle in, forget about outside worries, stresses, and be present in the movement for YOU. The self-care movement has never been as strong as it is now. The ability to carve out sacred time in your day is often time that gets taken away first and most, easily replaceable by the “have to’s” and “to do lists.” Upward Movement is a space where all are welcome – from the novice newbie to group fitness, to the out of shape student that wants to get back into movement, to the avid workout enthusiast and everyone and everyBODY in between. The space invites you to develop an inner and outer sense of strength through all forms of movement. At the studio, we offer barre, cycle and strength classes that all three compliment and balance each other out {and offer a sprinkle of yoga classes throughout the schedule}. We feel like one form of exercise doesn’t make a “whole,” but rather all three of these movement based classes are what offer the whole body an experience that creates change from the inside out. So much of the world we live in is a “go, go, go” mentality. We encourage you to step into our space, take a breath, become fully present in your workouts so you can be fully present in the other areas of your life that require ALL of you.
